Welcome back to the kitchen table. As we dive into the fourth part of our Jesus-centered discipline conversations, we focus on blessing. Discipline isn’t just about correction; it’s an opportunity to speak life over our children.
When we ask, “What does God have planned for you?” we’re helping them see beyond their mistakes and into the future God has for them.
Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that our children are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works. So, in moments of discipline, we also get to bless them by calling out the good works and the purpose God has placed within them.
This simple shift, from correction to blessing, transforms the conversation. Speak blessings over your child's life, and watch how God moves in both their heart and yours.
