The Warrior Mama Podcast

Feb 9, 2022

Welcome back to the kitchen table. Bethany sits down with Natalie Hixson, who shares her testimony, struggles, and triumphs with anger in motherhood. Natalie's story is relatable, and it's a battle that many mothers are going through silently.

Natalie and Bethany offer hope and guidance in giving it to God during these unbearably messy moments in motherhood. Natalie shares methods in understanding our emotions, reining them in and learning to seek God first. Turn these messy moments back to the Lord, sit with him, and use these as moments of learning.

Natalie helps us to clearly understand what destructive anger looks like, and she provides us with amazing tools to create awareness around the triggers to help you gain more control over outbursts.

Natalie uses the sit and pray technique to work through those challenging moments where we need a break. Separate, inhale, tune in to what you're feeling. And then invite God into the equation.

God is walking with you. He is committed to you even during those difficult moments of motherhood.

About Natalie:

She enjoys her own motherhood journey by hanging with her husband Mike and their three daughters in beautiful Bozeman, Montana. She recharges with Jesus, coffee, and adventures with her family like skiing in the winter, hiking in the summer.
